ABOUT THE SERVICE
St George Accommodation for Youth is a Transitional Supported Accommodation Service. funded by the Supported Accommodation Assistance Program (SAAP).
We support young people to work towards independence by providing low cost accommodation and through our Case Management Program.
We encourage applications from young people who are from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island backgrounds and from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds

ELIGIBILITY
You are homeless - or about to be.
You are 16 up to 21 years old or you are 16 up to 25 years and a client of a Mental Health Service for our Mental Health Program
Need support to become independent.
You have basic living skills, which means: personal hygiene, cooking, cleaning, washing, shopping, banking, using transport
You have a low income - at least the Youth Allowance Independent Rate
You are willing to participate in our Case Management Program.
You are willing to learn about your rights and responsibilities as a tenant.
You have a job, are attending school, training or working towards these.

EXCLUSIONS
We cannot offer support and housing to:
Young people with chronic drug and alcohol issues
Young people with children.
